DRE v2026.2.0 is out.
This release is about getting more useful help while you’re actually driving: proper Assetto Corsa support, a new braking input signal, better pit-lane control, cleaner app shortcuts, faster startup, and fixes for several annoying race-session edge cases.
Assetto Corsa is now fully supported
Assetto Corsa is now supported on par with DRE’s existing ACC support.

That means DRE can work with AC in single-player and multiplayer, including pit stop control through the AC Quick Pit Menu. If you race AC and wanted DRE to handle the same kind of race engineer work there, this is the big one.
New Braking Overlap Signal
The new Braking Overlap Signal helps you catch brake + throttle overlap in braking zones without staring at telemetry or a pedal overlay.
If you’re dragging throttle while braking, re-applying brake pressure after release, or losing consistency into corners, DRE can now call that out as a coaching signal. The point is simple: cleaner pedal inputs, better corner entries, less wasted fuel, and fewer small habits quietly costing lap time.
You’ll find the settings under Car -> Peripherals -> Braking Overlap.

Better pit-lane and app control
DRE 2026.2 adds two new pit speeding offset settings for Performance and Ultimate users:
- Pit Speeding Alert offset: default +2.1 km/h, adjustable from -2.0 to +5.0 km/h
- Pit Speeding Signal Offset: default +0.10 km/h, adjustable from 0.00 to +2.00 km/h
You can tune these under Pit -> Pitlane -> Speeding.
That gives you more control over when DRE warns you, and how tight the speeding signal should be around the sim’s pit-lane limit.
Custom Commands can also now send keybinds to other apps like OBS, Racelabs, or SimHub while your simulator keeps focus. The target app needs to listen for global shortcuts, and you can add a process safety check when needed.
Examples:
Press keys NumPad4Press keys Ctrl+Shift+K to obs64
That makes stream controls, overlays, and dashboard actions easier to trigger from DRE without alt-tabbing out of the car.
Classic Recognition starts much faster
Classic Recognition loading is down from about 40 seconds to about 15 seconds.
That’s about 63% less waiting, or roughly 2.7x faster startup, before voice commands are ready.

Window shortcut buttons are also easier to use, and there’s a new Always on Top shortcut.
Fixes and cleanup
This release also fixes several things that could get in the way during a session:
- Quiet iRating gain in tiny iRacing classes
- False pit-stop changes when entering the car
- Updates getting stuck while DRE is running
- Late hot-lapping alerts and driver naming issues
- LMU stale session data and rain misreporting
- iRacing pace car issue from 2026 Season 3
- Rare crashes
- Startup voice-command setting prep
- Rare Fuel Analytics chart states
- LMU settings files blocking sim detection
- Unclear speech for multi-option settings
