If you race in a league, the classes that matter may not be the ones reported by the simulator. Your league might split GT3 into Pro, Pro-Am, and Am, while the simulator sees one GT3 class.
That can make class positions, leaders, fastest laps, and nearby cars correct according to the simulator, but wrong for your league.
DRE 2026.3.0 fixes that with Custom League Classes. DRE can use the categories defined by your league, so its race information and visuals match the real competition on track.
Map the field the way your league races
The new Custom Classes tab in Session View shows the class configuration and every mapped car.

You can import custom-class files from:
- Edge
- iOverlay
- JRT
DRE also includes templates for WEC, IMSA WeatherTech, ELMS, Asian Le Mans Series, NLS/VLN, Creventic 24H, GT World Challenge Europe, and IGTC.
Need something specific to your championship? Create a saved configuration, add or edit its classes, then assign cars by simulator class, exact car number, Customer ID, or Team ID. Exact imported car numbers retain their leading zeroes, so car 007 stays 007.
See the correct race around you
Once applied, your custom class names and colours feed DRE’s live roster, track map, and Analytics. They also change the class-aware race context DRE uses for class position and grouping, the class leader, fastest-in-class, and the cars ahead or behind.

If GT3 Pro and GT3 Am share the simulator’s native GT3 class, DRE can separate them for the information that matters during the race. Your class position reflects the Am field, the relevant class leader is an Am car, and nearby class context follows the same category.
The simulator’s original class data remains intact underneath. Official-style rating and Strength of Field statistics continue to use the native simulator classes.
Save it once or apply it to the current session
On iRacing, a saved configuration can automatically apply when DRE detects the matching league ID. You can also apply a configuration manually to the current server or session.

Manual, session-scoped class handling is also available for ACC, Le Mans Ultimate and other RF2Base simulations, and Assetto Corsa. Automatic league-ID matching is specific to iRacing.
Applying and editing live configurations requires DRE Essentials or higher. Without that access, imported files can still be opened and inspected offline in read-only form.
Race the league’s classification
A league-defined class shouldn’t disappear as soon as the session reaches your simulator. With Custom League Classes, DRE can follow the championship structure from the entry list into the live race.
Update to DRE 2026.3.0, map your league field, and put the correct class battle back in your headset and on screen.
