Multi-Sim Support: ACC Joins the Party
The biggest news? DRE now supports Assetto Corsa Competizione!
After years of iRacing exclusivity, I’ve finally expanded DRE’s horizons. ACC is now fully operational as a secondary simulator, supporting all features that overlap with iRacing. And don’t worry, Assetto Corsa Evo and Le Mans Ultimate are next in line.
Enabling ACC is simple:
- Redo the Get Started Wizard from

Speaking Your Language: New Localizations
DRE now speaks three new languages:
Spanish – 🔉Listen to Alvaro
Portuguese – 🔉Listen to Vasco
Brazilian Portuguese – 🔉Listen to Josival
The entire app is now translated across all seven supported languages, including the UI, notifications, tags, and settings. Want to keep the English interface but hear responses in your native language? No problem! Just adjust Settings -> General -> Translate UI.
Hot and Cool Lapping: Never Get Called Out Again
Ever been that driver everyone’s cursing at during practice? Or had your hot lap ruined by someone cruising on their out-lap? Those days are over.
The Hot Lapping Opponents Alert 🔥 warns you when you’re on a cool lap and faster cars are approaching. “Let him by” or “Hamilton is hot-lapping” are just some of the alerts you’ll hear.
The Cool Lapping Opponents Alert ❄️ does the opposite, telling you when slower cars are ahead during your hot lap. “He needs to let you by” or “Hamilton is on a cool-lap” helps you navigate through traffic.
For Performance+ subscribers, the Hot Lapping Opponents Signal gives you escalating warning tones as hot-lappers approach—perfect for those moments when you need to focus on driving rather than processing voice alerts.
Quality of Life Improvements
Chat with other drivers directly through voice commands with the new Driver Chat Command. Just say “Chat with Hamilton…” or “Write to Max…” and DRE handles the rest.
Take full control with Customizable Overtake Alerts—choose exactly what you want to hear, from simple “Car left/right/clear” to detailed callouts including driver names and positions.
Worried about accidental admin commands? I’ve added confirmation options for both regular and destructive admin commands, giving you a chance to review before execution.
The UI is now easier to navigate with color indicators for enabled (🟢) and disabled (🔴) features, plus improved guidelines and indentations to help your eyes find what they need.
And yes, you can finally Override Simulator Units! Choose between Auto (sim default), English, or Metric regardless of what your sim uses.
Fuel and Pit Stop Enhancements
Essentials+ subscribers can now hear the Fuel Needed amount while gridding—no more guessing how much fuel the race will require.
The new Pit Service Countdown tells you exactly how long your pit stop will take, accounting for fuel, tires, and repairs.
Fine-tune your strategy with Auto Fuel Hysteresis—control when DRE recalculates fuel amounts based on changing conditions.
New commands make pit management easier:
- “Pit time loss” tells you exactly what a pit stop will cost timewise
- “How long will the pit stop take” estimates your upcoming service time
- “Maximize fuel” instantly sets pit fuel to maximum
Wrapping Up
Team racers will appreciate improved Team Data Sharing with clearer connection status indicators. The Spotter Voice Override is now available for all users, regardless of subscription level.
I’ve also tweaked DRE to prioritize your voice command responses—they now jump to the front of the queue, ensuring you get the information you need right when you ask for it.
Is your pit strategy often cutting it close on fuel? All pit stops now automatically include a fuel buffer by default, not just the final one.
