Endurance races, such as the 24-hour or 12-hour events, pose unique challenges as multiple drivers are involved, each with their own driving style and fuel usage. DRE addresses this issue by allowing drivers to share fuel and tire data automatically. With all teammates using DRE, you get a complete picture of the car’s performance even when you’re not behind the wheel.
When a new driver takes over, DRE quickly adapts to their different fuel burn rates and adjusts the fuel usage calculations accordingly. This ensures the fuel strategy remains accurate and responsive to each driver’s style. Over a span of 10 laps, DRE employs a smooth running average to fine-tune the calculations further.

How to use Team Data?
Sharing data between DRE users on the same team in the sim happens automatically. There’s no need to set anything up – it just works.
Essentials subscribers or higher allow for sending data, while everyone can retrieve shared data.
For Performance subscribers or higher, the data is shared more often, making the data more fluid.

What’s shared?
Fuel levels, oil + water Temperatures, and measured tire wear are shared across DRE users on the same team. When spectating with a Essentials+ subscriber in your team’s car, you should see fuel levels, car temperatures, and tire wear updating automatically.

When listening to your team mates and DRE’s `Sound -> Busy Detection -> Scan Other App Volumes` is enabled for an app, like Discord, several things can play a part in terms of DRE missing out on the audio coming through.

- Make sure the external application process name is spelled correctly (“Discord” in our example)
- Lower the Volume Threshold to 0% (if subscription allows it), to see the current levels of the external app
- In the external app, make sure its output volume level is set high. Otherwise the interpreted level will be minimal, too low for DRE to adjust its Volume Threshold for. For example, in Discord, go to Settings -> App Settings -> Voice & Video -> Output Volume slider should be set to 100%
- Now adjust the Volume Threshold in DRE so speech or audio from the external app, is treated as such
Now when audio is produced from the external app, your should see the DRE output icon turning yellow. When hovering the output icon, when blocked by this Mute DRE on External Output feature, the text when will include “Output prevented by App Volume Activity: discord (23%)” at the top.
