If you’re using the Neural Recognition, you may experience long delays before DRE responds back to you.
Here are a few tips to shorten the wait until DRE replies:
- If on Performance or Ultimate tiers, choose Cloud in
Sound -> Recognition -> Neural Recognizer Provider - Using the Local
Neural Recognizer Provider- Choose the Small model for faster transcription in
Sound -> Recognition -> Preferred Neural Model - Prioritize GPU hardware for transcriptions. Ensure “CUDA“, and “Vulkan” are before “CPU” in
Sound -> Recognition -> Preferred Neural Hardware Priority
- Choose the Small model for faster transcription in
- Disable Neural Recognition, and rely solely on Classic Recognition by setting
Sound -> Recognition -> Speech Engineto Classic
