Updating DRE

Learn how to upgrade to newer versions

With Automatic Updates enabled

Open DRE
If you have Automatic Updates enabled DRE will download the newer version and install it, then reopen DRE
Confirm the newer version in the top of the left side menu

Without Automatic Updates

Open DRE
If there’s a newer version, DRE will display a popup with the newer version
Click Download
DRE will now download the update in the background and automatically install it

Go to Settings -> Updates to configure how updates work

Manual Updates

If you want to manually update DRE follow these steps:

Make sure DRE is closed
Head to Downloads
Download the version you want (choose either the latest, or find an older in the archive further down)
Install this once downloaded
