Voice and Speech

🔄 Neural voice replies stay more ready

  • Compatible cached replies are reused more often, so neural voice replies use less cloud speech and are ready more often.
  • Fixed: Some replies could pause too long before speaking.

Stability

✅ Session intro messages could disappear after speech fallback

  • Important race intro messages are less likely to go missing if cloud speech fails and DRE falls back locally.

✅ Rapid force-shift signals could restart DRE mid-race

  • DRE is less likely to restart or drop out during repeated automatic shift bursts.

✅ DRE could fail when Windows speech or input components were unavailable

  • Startup and input handling are more resilient if optional Windows components are blocked or missing.

Pit Stops

Spotter

  • The Italian white-flag call uses more natural wording while keeping the last-lap call correct.

Simulators

✅ DRE stayed on Waiting for Sim while a disabled simulator was already running

  • If a supported sim is already open but disabled in Sim Connection -> Simulators, DRE tells you what to enable instead of only waiting.

✅ LMU stopped working after the install folder moved

  • DRE can recover when your LMU install path changes, so it finds LMU again and refreshes the saved path without needing a reinstall.
