🔄 LMU Fuel

  • Setting fuel amounts in LMU with DRE will now set the absolute amount to leave the pits with after the pit stop fueling completes.
  • This change aligns with LMU’s pit strategy type of fueling and plays better with virtual energy. Before DRE attempted to add your requested fuel amounts.
  • As an example with Set fuel to 70 liters:
    • LMU: Sets the Fuel or Virtual Energy + Fuel Ratio so you will leave the pits with 70 liters carried.
    • iRacing, ACC: Adds fuel to the car, so it adds 70 liters on top of what is already there.

  • DRE will no longer re-apply fueling at pit lane entry, if fueling had already been applied. This was needed with the old additive fuel handling in DRE, but is no longer required.
  • In cars using Virtual Energy, Fuel Ratio is now automatically calculated based on actual running.
    • If you’ve completed any laps, DRE will now calculate the optimal fuel ratio that aligns with the fuel level.
    • It sets the Fuel Ratio and uses this new ratio to calculate the Virtual Energy to carry after the next pit stop.
    • The formula for calculating the fuel ratio is:
      • Fuel used per lap on average / Virtual Energy used per lap on average
      • Example: 2.2L / 3% = 0.73 Fuel Ratio
    • The fuel ratio approaches the "Fuel Ratio" displayed in the Fuel MFD, but will differ slightly due to roundings and different fuel algorithms between DRE and LMU.
  • Fix: Applying fuel via LMU api was out of sync with new indexing of pit stop elements. DRE now scans for the true positions of the elements.

✅ LMU Connection

  • Fixed: Outdated simulator process caused DRE to think LMU was unresponsive and closed its connection.
  • Fixed: Temporary simulator process outages causing LMU to be unresponsive and closing its connection.
  • Fixed: Disconnecting from online racing back into the menu was treated as a full sim exit and would not re-attach in following sessions.

✅ Timer and Alarm

  • Commands for handling timers and alarms weren’t handling localizations.

✅ Global searching would fail when searching in website changelogs

✅ Bugs caught by the internal bug tracker
