✅ Local Neural Speech could re-download the Neural Speech Recognition model after a runtime crash

  • If CUDA or Vulkan fails after the local speech model is already loaded, DRE keeps the Neural Speech Recognition model in place instead of throwing it away and forcing an unnecessary re-download the next time you switch back to Local Neural Speech.
  • Neural Speech Recognition startup errors also point more clearly at the real runtime search path, so it is easier to tell whether the problem is the backend startup rather than a missing model folder.

✅ iRacing meatball flags could sound like plain black flags

  • Opponent and player flag calls are more likely to describe required repairs instead of falling back to a generic black-flag call when iRacing reports a mechanical black flag.

✅ Marked Drivers entries could not be edited

  • You can now click once on any existing driver in the Marked Drivers list to start editing their name, customer ID, or comment, instead of needing a double-click or being unable to edit at all.

✅ Neural voice switched to the local voice at times

  • Fixed cases where number-heavy replies, compact values, or some longer phrases could make DRE wrongly drop from your selected neural voice to the local Windows voice, so replies stay more consistent.

✅ LMU could stay silent after loading into a session

  • DRE is less likely to get stuck half-connected after LMU finishes loading, so spotting and race-engineer alerts can start normally instead of never becoming active.
